Primobolan Side Effects in Women

Thinking about buying Primobolan? In this article, I will tell you the good, bad, and potential Primobolan side effects.

Primobolan is a steroid not often talked about among male bodybuilders, the reason is that it’s a steroid that does not offer men a lot of benefits, however, it can be effective for women who want to gain muscle and lose body fat.

Introduction

Primobolan, also known as  Methenolone, is a dihydroboldenone (DHB) derived anabolic steroid, Primobolan is similar to dihydrotestosterone (DHT),  one of the mildest anabolic steroids available to the public.

DHB or dihydroboldenone, the 5-alpha reduced of the milder steroid (boldenone).

Since Primobolan is considered a mild anabolic steroid it’s a popular choice amongst women.

The safety profile of this steroid is similar to that of Anavar (Oxandrolone).

For women with more experience, it’s a very versatile androgen that if used correctly and at the right doses can be effective.

Primobolan comes in two different presentations.

Primobolan Enanthate

Often referred to as Primobolan Depot.

This is an injectable version of Methenolone with the Enanthate ester attached.

What does this mean?

This means that there is a long-acting ester attached.

The longer ester Enanthate will mean that steroid hormone levels of Primobolan will need to build over time after a good 4-6 weeks.

During this stage, they become stable and at their peak administering twice per week.

This means you will get the most value for your money.  It also means you should experience fewer side effects.

Regardless of your goals during a cutting or bulking cycle, women should use a dose they’re comfortable with, in order to achieve positive gains with few side effects.

Primobolan Acetate

This presentation comes with a much shorter ester (Acetate, attached).

This newer version comes in both injectable and oral format. There are, however, some important points to note when using the shorter-acting version, both orally and injecting Primobolan.

The acetate version is a faster-acting steroid – Primobolan Enanthate (Primobolan Depot). With the Acetate ester attached, the parent hormone is active hours after injection and remains active for about three days.

Blood plasma levels of Primobolan will climb rapidly after administration and decline after 12-15 hours. This means the frequency of the Primobolan administration is the longer counterpart.

Injecting every day or every other day is common amongst Primobolan Acetate users, because it enters and exits the body faster than Primobolan Depot. This means we can limit side effects and achieve faster gains in muscle mass and body fat reduction.

We should also mention that Primobolan Acetate is a fairly painful injection and is not manufactured in the same concentrations as Primobolan Enanthate.

Due to its shorter half-life, it’s normally used during cutting cycles over a  5-6 week period, this is helpful when the user wants to obtain lean body mass in a short period of time.

Primobolan Acetate Pills

Unlike other steroids that have a 17-alpha-alkylated addition, which means they can survive the “first pass” of the liver,

Primobolan Acetate remains orally active in pill form. However, this is not a good thing… Because it doesn’t have the 17-a-a alteration, large doses are needed to be used frequently.

While Primo does give the women good gains with few side effects, this makes it a very favorable anabolic steroid for women.

The high demand for Primobolan makes it expensive, even the raw powder, It doesn’t matter if the steroid is sourced from Europe, Pakistan, or Asia, the powder is expensive. So this brings us to the downside of using Primobolan Acetate Simply put – the price.

Primobolan Side Effects

On paper Primobolan paints a pretty picture as being a female-friendly steroid, this is only partly true.

The reason Primobolan is considered or of the safer steroids in terms of side effects is because it does not aromatize (convert) into estrogen so, in theory, fewer side effects.

Primobolan does not have a taxing effect on the liver and does not seem to cause high blood pressure, however, it can cause other side effects, these may include:

High Cholesterol

Using Primobolan can increase LDL (bad) and lower HDL (good) cholesterol, this can be avoided by eating a healthy diet and including foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids, while taking Primobolan women should try and avoid foods high in saturated fats.

Adding extra cardio during your cycle can also help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and maintain cardiovascular health.

Testosterone Suppression

Women do produce testosterone but in small amounts, using Primobolan will suppress natural testosterone production.  While it may take some time (few weeks) once you stop taking Primobolan testosterone levels should gradually return to normal.

Some trainers may recommend taking some sort of PCT (post-cyle therapy) after coming off of the steroid.

Hair Loss

There is probably nothing worse than for women to notice they start losing their hair.

This is one of the possible “not so pleasant side effects” caused by using Primobolan.

This steroid is used in excess amounts may cause other issues that could include, deepening of the voice, clitoral enlargement, and increased facial hair.

While the side effects can affect women differently, during a Primobolan cycle women should not exceed a 50mg injection per week.

Beware of Underground Labs

Trying to find a legitimate source of the Primobolan steroid has become almost impossible. Many underground labs that claim to sell Primobolan often sell a different hormone such as methenolone in its place.

Buying Primobolan online from underground labs in itself can be risky business, especially, not knowing what substance you are actually getting.

Should women use Primobolan?

What a lot of women don’t realize is that just making dietary changes and modifying their workout routine can lead to better physical gains.

Even women who compete professionally can achieve muscle gains and fat loss with a proper diet, exercise, and dietary supplements, they may not work as fast but they will do the job.

There are a variety of supplements that are rich in B vitamins, Zinc and also contain things like Tribulus Terrestris, Ashwagandha root, Ginseng, Maca, and sarsaparilla root extracts.

Many of these ingredients have been clinically proven to help boost natural hormone production.  Best of all is these Primobolan alternatives are made for women and are much safer than taking anabolic steroids.
