Hi, my name is Rosalie
I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about me and why I started this blog.
A few years ago, 4 to be exact, I was training my butt off in the gym. I had always worked out but this time I was serious about getting in the best shape of my life.
I had already dropped a lot of body fat or at least that’s what I thought but the pressure I was putting on myself told me that I was not doing enough.
I kept telling myself that I needed to lose more body fat “I was obsessed”, at the time I was at about 19% body fat, everyone told me that I looked great, but for me, that was not good enough.
I began doing research on steroids, my gut feeling told me that taking steroids was wrong plus it was something I knew nothing about.
From what I read on many forums, I did not see how steroids could be all that harmful so I thought it would be ok to use them and get rid of the last bit of body fat.
I talked with a personal trainer at my local gym and he suggested what steroids he felt would be safe for me. He told me Anavar and Winstrol were both good choices.
After doing more research myself I found a reputable online pharmacy and purchased what I thought were the right steroids.
I continued my training and begin using the steroids as prescribed by my trainer.
After my first week of taking small doses of Winstrol and Anavar I became stronger and my energy levels shot through the roof, body fat was dropping quickly but I also began to experience side effects that were making me feel like crap.
My skin became extremely oily and of course, as a result, I began to experience yucky acne all over my body. The worse thing was later experiencing a crackling in my voice which I found out later was an effect of the steroids.
I learned later on that certain steroids cause man like traits because steroids increase testosterone, (not a good thing for women).
In hindsight, I probably took the wrong dose of that particular steroid but the physiological changes that I experienced in that short time were enough to for me to stop taking them.
I can admittedly chock my experience up to me being plain stupid, but I learned the hard way.
After my bad experience with steroids, I was too embarrassed to go back to my gym, mainly because I was too embarrassed to face my personal trainer.
A couple of weeks later I found another gym with a woman trainer which I joined and talked about my experience, what I found was that much of what I was trying to achieve was unrealistic.
Normal body fat for a woman my age “25 years old” should be between 21-31% so, to begin with, I was already at a good body fat percentage and below what was normal, my vanity got the best of me.
What I learned from my new trainer.
Women carry more body fat than men, this is normal. I also learned that you can get leaner with a good diet and exercise.
I found that diet is the biggest part of getting lean.
Even if you think you have a good diet there are always ways to improve it.
Train as hard as you want but if you don’t have a good diet “I thought I did” it will make it hard to lose body fat.
I also found some good supplements also called legal steroids which have helped me increase energy and strength.
The main purpose of my blog is to spread the word about the dangers and side effects of anabolic steroids and what you can take as an alternative to help you get into shape.
Hopefully, this will help other women get into shape without going through the bad experience like I did from taking anabolic steroids.
