Best SARMs For Women – Can Women Take SARMs?

SARMs are a type of drug that functions similarly to testosterone and can boost performance in both male and female athletes. They have been popular with weightlifters and bodybuilders for decades, but recently their use has grown exponentially due to the legalization of SARMs in the US.

However, as with any new drug or compound, there are always some risks, including potential side effects such as hair loss, aggression/hostility, and excessive acne. But as long as you’re maintaining a safe cycle and consulting a health expert, you will only experience positive results.

If you’re a woman looking to take SARMs, this article aims to answer the question “can women take SARMs” and analyze the potential side effects they could cause.

What Are SARMs?

SARMS, selective androgen receptor modulators, can be described as steroids with a different molecular structure than testosterone. Their ability to stimulate nitrogen-based anabolic pathways has made them very popular among athletes and bodybuilders.

Benefits of taking sarms for women include increased muscle mass and vascularity and increased strength and power. Additionally, they also improve recovery time between workouts and promote the reduction of body fat. For years, they have been tested in various animals, men and women alike, to prove their safety and effectiveness.

How Do They Work?

SARMs are taken to the body with a simple injection, by topical application (injected into the skin), or orally. They can also be injected intramuscularly. The concentration of the active ingredient varies depending on which type you choose to get.

One of the most popular types is an oral pill that can be taken by mouth every day. These are taken at around 200mg per day and have a long-term effect, lasting at least 12 weeks.

Another type of SARM is an injection that can be administered every week. These injections take around seven days to reach maximum effects, which may be less than 24 hours. Other SARMs include transdermal patches that you apply to your skin daily and patches that can be injected intramuscularly. The effects of these vary in their cases depending on the concentration of the active ingredient in each specific patch.

Benefits of Using SARMs For Women

Women who use SARMs have reported improved recovery after workouts. This is due to increased muscle mass, stronger bones, and improved vascularity. Studies have found that testosterone levels in women increase after taking Andarine, one of the most popular SARMs on the market. Here’s a rundown of some commonly seen benefits of using SARMs in women:

Increased Energy Levels

It has been found that SARMs can significantly increase energy levels in women. According to one study, healthy women who regularly took this type of pill reported increased energy and mood. This was attributed to an increase in testosterone concentration, which is known for increasing energy levels and mood.

Increased Muscle Mass

In a study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania, Andarine showed significant improvements in muscle mass and strength. Participants had an 8% improvement in lean mass after 12 weeks when they took Andarine compared to those on a placebo pill.

Increased Bone Density

Another study found that the high levels of anabolic activity in pre-menopausal women and healthy postmenopausal women caused a significant increase in bone density. The study also found that estrogen plays a big factor in increasing bone density.

Inflammation Reducing

There is a direct correlation between inflammation and increases in testosterone and estrogen levels in women. According to research, Andarine can reduce inflammation by reducing both testosterone and estrogen levels, thus improving the body’s ability to heal itself.

Studies have found that testosterone levels in women increase after taking Andarine, one of the most popular SARMs on the market. So if you are a woman looking for better physical performance, you can always count on SARMs.

Are SARMs Safe For Women?

No drug or supplement in the market can guarantee zero side effects. Therefore, you should always expect to feel some effect after taking SARMs. It is common for every beginner to have doubts like are sarms safe for women. Here are some common side effects are seen with SARMs consumption in females:

Skin related conditions and acne

Sex drive is increased significantly

The voice becomes heavy and deepened

Stressing of bones and muscles

You should be willing to take measures to ensure that you are not consuming more than the recommended dose. If you take it in a properly maintained cycle and adequate dosage, you have nothing to worry about. You can also consult a health expert to find more information.

Tips To Get Better Results With SARMs

If you are taking SARMs, you should extend the cycle for at least 12 weeks. This will give your body enough time to adjust to the changes and benefits of this supplement. Take help from these tips to ensure safe and better results:

First of all, do not use any drug without consulting a health expert first. Always take advice from a professional before. Committing to any SARM in the market.

Choose the right brand of SARMs carefully. There are countless brands out there that have fake products with little active ingredient in them, so do not just get any brand because it promises you results.

Another common issue seen with people who use SARMs is overdosing on them or suffering from improper cycles. Once you have started your cycle, try to maintain it as much as possible.

If you experience serious side effects after taking SARMs, then it is recommended that you take a break from them and stop using them altogether if necessary. While, commonly, no major issues are seen with SARMs, but still always better to be on the safer side.

Final Words

SARMs are an excellent option for people who want to gain as much muscle as possible but do not want to take steroids. However, it is recommended that you always take caution when using SARMs to prevent any unwanted problems. You should consider taking SARMs after consulting with a trustworthy health expert only as a woman. They can help you make an informed decision on what dosage is best for your needs.

Why Your Sports Supplements Aren’t Working Anymore

For as long as I can remember there have been both positive and negative benefits of taking dietary supplements, the positive benefits of many supplements come to a screeching halt once they stop working.

In this article, I will discuss why sometimes sports supplements stop working and what you can do to improve their effectiveness.

I have been using dietary supplements for over a decade, besides getting my regular dose of Vitamins C, D, and E, I also take sports supplements.

If you have taken supplements in the past and found they did not offer and noticeable benefit, you are not alone, sometimes they just don’t work, other times t has more to do with your body’s tolerance.

Does your body build up a tolerance?

In a way it does, if you have ver used supplements before you may have noticed that when you first began taking a supplement you started to notice changes right away. After a couple of weeks, the effects seemed to have diminished.

It’s not because the supplements stopped working, what has happened is that your brain and body have balanced themselves.

Regardless of the kind of supplements you are taking be it for strength, energy, or fat loss eventually they will stop working, or their effects tend to wear off.

This is not because supplements stop working, it’s because your body tries to strike a balance and eventually does, essentially your body gets used to certain nutrients it gets.

Vitamin supplements are a little different, in that if you take too much of any vitamin the body will do its best to eliminate the excess.

How to prevent your body from building up a tolerance?

The first thing to do is to take a close look at the supplements you are going to buy, many sports supplements contain similar ingredients.

For example, sports supplement brands sell different products but many of them have common ingredients. This is one of the reasons some people feel that one supplement may have worked better than another.

What sometimes is not realized is the bot supplements may have similar ingredients, that is why it’s important to take a close look at the ingredients in your supplements.

As an example, there are many supplements that are used for fat loss, some of them contain things like Garcinia Cambogia, Citrus Aurantium, Green tea extract, and l-Carnitine.

Many supplements bundle similar ingredients for effective fat loss, it would not make sense to buy two different supplements that contain almost the same or similar ingredients.

Before purchasing any supplements it’s important to read the label of ingredients carefully to ensure you are not buying another supplement with the same ingredients.

Take a break after a couple of months

Sports supplements are most effective during the first 6-8 weeks of use. In fact, many supplements like Crazy Bulk recommend taking any supplement for no more than 2 months and then suspending it for at least a couple of weeks. This prevents your body from getting used to it.

I have personally noticed that I get the best results with taking most supplements for 8 weeks suspending for a few weeks and then begin the cycle again.

Conclusion

The next time you feel that your sports supplements have stopped working they may have, especially if you have been taking them for several months.

Sports supplements without a doubt deliver the best results during the first 6-8 weeks, it takes about a week for the benefits to kick in.

After several weeks you may notice the benefit may start to dwindle. When this occurs it’s best to suspend them for a few weeks. This process is called cycling, most people will get the best results when cycling any supplement for four to six weeks, suspending for a few weeks, and then resume the process.

Rosalie Bennoto

Hi My name is Rosalie and the author of Womenandmuscle.com I started this blog to help women understand a little about the side effects of anabolic steroids and share some of my favorite alternatives that have helped me stay in shape and improve my performance in the gym.

Do Pre-Workout Powders Work?

In this article, I will explain the things I think that every woman should know about the benefits of pre-workout powders.

Pre-workout powders have been around for as long as I can remember, many of them claim to offer a host of benefits that allow you to train harder with more energy and endurance.

There are a few things that hold women back from buying them, the biggest one is price, nowadays a lot of us are on a tight budget, and spending money on pre-workout supplements may seem more like a luxury than a necessity.

Besides spending extra money, I always felt that if I had a good diet rich in proteins I really did not need to buy a pre-workout powder, that is until I tried them.

Before I actually started looking for a good workout supplement I found there were dozens if not hundreds of brands and types of substances that promised to give me a better workout.

Being naive, even asking friends at the gym did not give me a lot of suggestions. the truth is, I tend to be picky, I wanted to know what the powder or pills in that fancy looking bottle were going to do for me.

Many pre-workout supplement companies claim that taking their pre-workout powder will instantly turn you into a huntress or female gladiator.

Some will give you huge muscles, while others will give you the energy that lasts for hours.

More energy is something a lot of active middle age moms are looking for, especially when faced with holding down a full-time job and taking care of a family.

Something else that is important to me is finding a pre-workout powder that not only gives you a boost of energy for better workouts. I look for something that has vitamins and minerals to help supplement my nutrition.

Are pre-workout powders effective?

The simple answer is yes, but not all pre-workout supplements are made the same, the worst thing about many of these supplements is that a lot of them are made for men.

There are very few pre-workout formulas made with women in mind.

Women require slightly different nutrients than men do, for example, creatine has been clinically proven to help you gain muscle, however not all women are looking for bigger muscles.

Finding a pre-workout powder suited for you should not have to be rocket science. There are quality brands that can not only help improve your workouts, they can also give you more energy throughout the day.

One benefit pre-workout powders offer is that they can help supplement your diet with vitamins and minerals that you may not be getting in your diet.

Women who are reducing their food intake while trying to lose weight may choose to supplement their diet with a pre-workout powder to ensure they get extra nutrients.

Depending on your individual requirements, you need to read labels carefully to ensure you are buying products suited for your specific needs.

Pre-workout powders offer more than just boosting energy and strength, they also help with fat loss, losing weight, and vitamin supplementation.

Benefits of taking pre-workout powders

Prevent the depletion of important nutrients needed for energy

Supplement your diet with essential vitamins and minerals

Help burn body fat

Boost metabolism

Increase strength and stamina

Increase muscle tone

What to look for

When looking for a pre-workout powder there are certain ingredients it should contain. If you are not sure exactly what you need, you should probably consult with an experienced nutritionist or fitness trainer.

Some of the most common ingredients found in pre-workout powders may include:

Arginine

L-Arginine is an amino acid found in many of the foods we consume, if you are active or train a lot you might need more than you are getting from the regular food you eat.

Arginine helps get more blood and oxygen into the blood vessels, its important for heart and circulatory health.

Reduced levels of oxygen and nutrients to your cells can put a strain on your metabolic system and slow it down. Arginine also helps boost nitric oxide production which helps blood vessels relax and reduce the pumping pressure on the heart.

L-Arginine helps you maintain lean body mass, people who consume, studies have shown that people who consume more arginine-rich foods tend to have lower body fat.

Active women who want to maintain muscle while losing the fat need to focus on eating protein-rich foods such as dairy, fish, poultry, and other meats.

Related Topic: Top 5 Foods for Building Muscle

L-Leucine

L-Leucine is an amino acid that is found in every cell in your body and an essential branched-chain amino acid BCAA’s that comes from meats, dairy, soy, and beans. L-Leucine is responsible for protein biosynthesis.

Isoleucine

Isoleucine is a precursor to glutamine and alanine, it’s broken down and used by the muscle as energy. It is considered an essential amino acid needed by the body for proper function, yet the body cannot produce it on its own.

When comparing Isoleucine to leucine both are branched-chain amino acids, they have a similar chemical structure, Isoleucine also promotes protein synthesis so it’s essential for maintaining lean muscle.

Isoleucine is found in many foods such as red meats, sesame seeds, lentils, oats, and soybeans. Many pre-workout powders contain a significant amount of Isoleucine so if you are not getting enough from your regular diet supplements will help.

Zinc Citrate

Zinc is an essential mineral and one that is responsible for strengthening the body’s immune system, increasing protein synthesis.

Getting plenty of zinc in your diet has also been shown to prevent the onset of osteoporosis in women. Women who don’t consume enough zinc have been shown to have reduced bone density when compared to those who are getting plenty of this mineral in their diet.

Most foods that contain Zinc include red meats, lamb, and chicken non-meat foods that contain zinc include lentils, chickpeas, and avocados.

L-carnitine

Is found in many pre-workout powders, it plays a role in transporting fatty acids into your cells’ mitochondria.

is a nutrient and dietary supplement. It plays a crucial role in the production of energy by transporting fatty acids into your cells’ mitochondria main benefit when it concerns bodybuilding is giving you more energy and helping you lose weight.

Benefits of Creatine

Creatine is one of the most popular ingredients in many pre-workout powders, it helps draw water into the muscles and over time helps increase strength and can help speed up muscle growth.

Stimulants

If you are sensitive to stimulants you should read the ingredients carefully, many pre-workout powders contain things like caffeine and green tea extract.

Vitamins

Most pre-workout supplements will contain a combination of Vitamin C, D, and B vitamins these will not hurt, once again they are important if you feel you are not getting enough foods with essential nutrients.

Conclusion

I guess some of you are looking for suggestions as to what the best pre-workout powders are or where to buy them. In the future, I may do an article on that topic. In the meantime I will leave that up to you, some of you may want to buy them from Amazon or your local GNC store.

I personally don’t like buying products from Amazon, I much prefer getting my supplements from smaller online stores.

My primary go-to supplement stores are Bulk Supplements, they sell good quality pre-workout powders along with hundreds of other fitness supplements and you can’t beat the price.

Another good source is HGH.com they sell all kinds of different pre-workout supplements made specifically for those who are passionate about fitness and working out.

When shopping for a pre-workout powder you will find dozens of brands, some will contain more stimulants than anything else. This is fine for women who want an initial jolt to get their workout off to a running start.

My personal preference is to look for a pre-workout powder that has a small amount of caffeine but is packed with other ingredients that include, essential vitamins, minerals, and BCAA’s, these are what are going to give you energy and long term health benefits.

Why Do Women take Equipoise? Side Effects and Benefits

When we discuss the kinds of steroids for women we mostly hear names like Anavar, Winstrol, and Primobolan, but it’s rare to hear the steroid Equipoise mentioned, especial when it applies to women. In this article, I will tell you what I have learned about equipoise for women.

I have seen many online forums where women ask others about their experience from using this steroid, many say it works well and with few side effects, but as with any anabolic steroid it can have side effects.

What is Equipoise?

Boldenone Undecylenate is the proper pharmaceutical name of Equipoise, it’s an anabolic androgenic steroid derived from the male sex hormone testosterone.

The name Equipoise was given to this steroid in 1970 by Squibb, this steroid is classified for veterinary use only, however it has found its way into the bodybuilding community due to the positive muscle-building benefits it offers.

Boldenone was first produced in the 1950s for human use by CIBA it was sold under the name Parenabol.

Apparently, Boldenone was used for treating certain ailments and did enjoy some success in the medical field for treating muscle wasting diseases and osteoporosis, it was later discontinued due to some of the side effects it caused, plus there were better and safer medications that could be used.

Boldenone was discontinued for human use in the 70s and is made strictly for veterinary use, however, it has not stopped men and women from buying this steroid from veterinary sources and underground labs.

Equipoise benefits

Equipoise (Boldenone Undecylenate) is an altered form of testosterone, this modification ads a double bond carbon at positions one and two reducing the steroids androgenic and estrogenic potency. This attaches to a long undecylenate ester, this controls the release of the steroid once injected into the body.

The peak release time is about 3-4 days, after it has been injected it has a long-lasting duration of up to 21 days.

Because of its altered structure, this steroid aromatizes at half the rate of testosterone, while estrogenic side effects in men are possible they are highly unlikely to occur.

The benefits of Equipoise are fairly straightforward in that it helps increase nitrogen retention in the muscles, improves protein synthesis, increases IGF-1, and inhibits muscle wasting hormones.

Why women take Equipoise

Increase muscle and strength

Equipoise can help women gain lean muscle, it also has a positive effect on increasing strength, these two obviously go hand in hand, the stronger you are the more weight you can lift which translates into increased muscle stimulation and growth.

Speed up muscle recovery times

Due to the increased benefit of protein synthesis Equipoise can help speed up muscle recovery time.

Athletic endurance

Equipoise has been shown to have a positive effect un increasing athletic performance and endurance.

Increase lean muscle and vascularity

Equipoise if often used by women during a cutting cycle because it helps protect muscle while reducing body fat, during a cutting cycle women tend to be in a calorie deficit which puts you at risk for losing lean muscle.

Even if you maintain a good diet with plenty of protein a good diet can only do so much to help from losing muscle. This is where Equipoise shines allowing you to keep muscle while eliminating body fat.

Women who use Equipoise describe it as a fairly tolerated steroid as long as it is not used in high doses.

An average dose of Equipoise for women is considered anywhere between 25-50mg, however, there are better steroid options available for women such as Anavar and possibly Turinabol.

While it is considered a mild steroid, it can cause harmful side effects but let’s not forget that Equipoise is a steroid used on animals, particularly for horses to boost endurance and gain muscle.

Side effects of Equipoise

Many steroids can cause side effects, the more anabolic they are the worse the side effects can be. The term for women who develop male traits is called steroid virilization.

This happens when a steroid increases testosterone levels in a woman’s body, this normally happens when high doses of steroids are taken by women, however, even low doses can cause a woman’s body to transform.

Common side effects of taking Equipoise may include:

Excess body hair: This is normal for men but women may begin to notice an increase in facial hair in places they never saw hair grow before.

Deeper voice: this is not an uncommon side effect in women and the worst part is that this is a side effect that is not reversible.

Clitoral enlargement: This is something that happens to women from taking steroids, this essentially means your clitoris will begin to grow in size.

Organ damage is also a possible side effect from taking Equipoise and one that should be taken seriously, this affects both men and women equally. One animal study showed that Equipoise had an effect on increasing the size of the kidneys and caused liver damage.

Another study published in the Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness showed similar results when EQ was injected by bodybuilders there was a noticeable increase in kidney size and shape and it also seemed to have a negative effect on kidney function.

Buying Equipoise (Beware)

Getting your hands on any anabolic steroids is not easy, in many countries such as the U.S anabolic steroids are illegal in other countries a prescription is required.

The only place to buy Equipoise is online from underground labs or taking a trip to Mexico where veterinary grade Equipoise is available.

Considering Equipoise is not meant for human consumption you are taking a health risk. There is no guarantee you are going to get a legitimate product and even worse you may be buying a counterfeit version of what is sold as Boldenone Undecylenate.

Many ester-based (injectable Equipoise) may just be testosterone instead of Equipoise which could have even worse side effects on women.

Are there Equipoise alternatives?

There really are none, and veterinary grade brands are all that are available. In fact, to say that female-friendly steroids exist they dont, even in low doses anabolic steroids can cause side effects in women.

What do women take who don’t want to use steroids?

While a lot of women may consider taking steroids the side effects aren’t worth it. Any professional athlete will tell you that before you consider taking steroids you should take a close look at your diet and training routine.

Even small changes in your diet can go a long way in helping you transform your body.

Your next best alternative would be to consider taking a quality sports supplement. There are safe steroid alternatives in the form of supplements, these can offer similar benefits without the harmful side effects.

Final thoughts

While Equipoise for women may seem like the magic potion that will give you more muscle and a leaner physique, it still does not change the fact that it is a horse steroid used by veterinarians and one that most women should avoid.

Putting оn muscle dоеѕ nоt mаkе уоu gаin bulk like men. The рrосеѕѕ iѕ tied tо a number of hоrmоnеѕ аnd wоmеn ѕimрlу dо nоt possess a level thаt could cause уоu tо bесоmе bulkу.

Conclusion

Don’t believe the myths that lifting weights will make women bulky and masculine looking, on the contrary, lifting weights will give you lean muscle and a sexy body that will turn heads. It will also make you stronger and boost your self-confidence. There is a lot to be said about strength training and it is something that has many positive health benefits that should not be overlooked.

Regulate hormones and boost training performance

Several weeks ago I went out to dinner with friends and we were discussing the gym and talking about our workouts. One of my friends was mentioning that some of the women that go to her gym have incredible physiques and wondered how they do it. Some of them seem to be able to gain muscle in all the right places.

If I were only so genetically gifted.

My biggest issue has always been trying to make my buttocks bigger, however, one of my friends does not seem to have any issues in the booty department. In fact, she has a very nice butt, she claims she does a lot of squats and leg presses. Yes, I have also made some headway working out but not as much as my friend has.

I guess we can all blame our lacking body parts on genetics, but what do you do if you aren’t genetically gifted? You either train that body part more often, or you try and find other ways to speed up the process.

Related: How to get a bigger butt with or without exercise

After several minutes one of my friends came clean and said she was using some natural booty enhancement methods that had helped her add some size to her glutes.

She did not go into much detail but she did say she was taking a supplement that contained something called maca root.

I did not want to be rude and pull out my phone during dinner, so I waited till I got home to learn more about it.

What is Maca Root?

It seems that Maca is a root consumed by indigenous people who live in the Andes, more commonly known as Peruvian ginseng, this superfood is considered a root vegetable with many positive attributes for improving your overall health.

Maca root has been a staple food in the Andean diet for centuries, at a glance the root is used in a variety of supplements to help women improve sexual health and prevent menopause, a closer look reveals other benefits.

Benefits of Maca Root for Women

There is a reason why maca root is found in a variety of supplements that is because it can provide a host of benefits for women, maca root is also beneficial for men but in this article, my focus is solely on the benefits it offers women.

1. Better sex drive

Sexual dysfunction is a real symptom in women especially women who suffer from depression, both young and old women will experience low sex drive at some point and many are at a loss of why it happens and what to do about it. Some doctors may prescribe medications but oftentimes these treatments can cause side effects.

Studies have shown that maca root can help increase sex drive in women 1, as little as 3 grams of maca root a day can help women enjoy improved sexual desire and satisfaction.

Besides making sex more satisfying maca root works as a powerful aphrodisiac, this is due to its high mineral content.

Maca root is loaded with generous amounts of zinc, magnesium, copper, calcium, iron, manganese, phosphorus, and potassium. These can help improve your mood, balance hormones and make sexual arousal easier.

2. Reduce symptoms of menopause

Maca root has been used to regulate hormones, research has shown that its phytochemical content is what contributes to its effect.

Maca root can help prevent or reduce symptoms of menopause ranging from hot flashes, irregular periods, sleep irregularities, depression, and night sweats.

One particular study indicates women had a considerable increase in LH secretion which helped stimulate ovarian hormones 2 this helped reduce many of the symptoms that cause discomfort from menopause.

3. Maca can help maintain bone density
